my deepest apologies to the bat that i apparently hit on my way home last night. i found him on my hood/headlight this morning. those who know me, know i love bats. this broke my heart. i am truly sorry.

so i have the next several weeks off, and decided to go for a walk this afternoon. i was so disappointed with the number of bottles, cans and trash on the road. people... really, how hard is it to toss it in a can or recycling bin? i'll drive the route later and clean it. i have too much time on my hands.

Interview with a VAMPYRE!!!

so no shit there i was at the drive through at bojangles just getting some breakfast for some of my students when all of a sudden.....

a woman from the car behind me comes to my window, and hands me a piece of paper and says... i need you to call me in half an hour. i asked her why and she paused, then said, just call me..... my mind pondered what could make her do this. was it a joke? did something on the back of my truck offend? i reasoned that she was some fundo christian, and was going to take offense to my hash fish, which is like a jesus fish, but has legs and is chugging a beer. i was ready for a sermon.

fast forward 30ish minutes.

i called, and said 'you asked me to call you?" she transfered me to the conference room where we could talk in private. i was ready for some ultra religious banter about how sacriligious my fish was. she says to me, that she would like to talk to me about my license plate which is vampyre9. she asked if i chose it, to which i said yes. she then asked me why. now, i was still thinking about her being a strong fundo, so just told her i liked the genre, and have always liked the idea of a vampyre. she then invited me to a meetup in charlotte the next night. i asked her what kind of meetup, and she told me it was for people who share the same interests in... get this.... vampyres. now i'm not saying they just talked about anne rice, but THEY REALLY THINK THEY ARE VAMPYRES!!!!! thats right my minions, i was picked up by a vampyre at the bojangles drive through! i broad daylight mind you. she then told me their website, and that their leader was lord alistair. yes, lord alistair. i checked out the page, and wooo boy, there are some interesting people. here's the addy for lord alistair... http://www.housedarkhaven.com/ here's the charlotte group.... http://www.bitemecharlotte.com/ one of my favorite quotes on this last page is in the forums section where one of the topics is "elders". the subtitle is we make dirt look young.
