you know, i'm not saying i'm perfect by any stretch of the imagination. i'm not even saying i'm good all the times, but damn if i don't think that i'm kind and considerate. now there are times when i hurt people. this is life, this happens. it is never my intention, but sometimes life gets in the way (at least that's the excuse i'll use for now). i love my friends, like most of the women i've dated, and try my hardest to remember important events, but you know what... i fuck up sometimes. to balance that, i try to make people comfortable around me. i do not think i am a larger than life presence, but at least i turn my damned phone off when i'm at a movie. i mean, how fucking hard is it to push a little button for 3 measley seconds. do people realize how much the rest of the audience would appreciate it? now i know that people driving home won't be saying, "gee that was sure nice that no phones rang during the movie," but maybe after a while, it would get noticed. the same goes for restaurants, the mall, the airport etc... YOU ARE NOT SO IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE HAS TO HEAR YOUR NEW BLACK EYED PEAS RINGTONE! TURN THE SHIT OFF.
