the upcoming birth of my baby girl, but damn it if i can't get through 5 minutes of extreme home makeover without bawling my mother effing eyes out! Geeze. I'm Mr. BadMood Damn it! geeze. oooh look a puppy! Grrrrrrr.

Just try watching any medical show (like E.R. or Grey's Anatomy) that features kids dying or in pain--good luck getting through that without a Kleenex. Parenthood is definitely life altering. Good luck!
Cheesy as it sounds, the scene inTitanic with the mom putting the kids to bed, and telling them they'll be okay (as the ship sinks) makes me cry and snuffle every time. And yeah, having kids changes you perspective in interesting and unexpected ways.
